Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator who is eager to develop their career and progress into a Paraplanner role.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous experience in financial services administration who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will initially support our advisers through a range of administrative and client servicing duties while receiving training, mentoring, and exposure to technical aspects of financial planning with a view to becoming a Paraplanner.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration Duties
- Provide administrative support to Financial Advisers and the wider team.
- Process new business applications and monitor progress through to completion.
- Prepare and maintain accurate client records using the firm’s CRM system.
- Liaise with product providers, platforms, and clients regarding policy information and servicing requests.
- Manage adviser diaries, client meetings, and review schedules.
- Prepare client review packs and meeting documentation.
- Ensure all client files are maintained in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Assist in gathering and analysing client information.
- Support the preparation of suitability reports and recommendation documents.
- Conduct product and provider research.
- Develop technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
- Work closely with advisers and experienced paraplanners to build technical and analytical skills.
- Progress towards taking responsibility for report writing and research activities.
Essential
- Previous experience working within a financial advice, wealth management, or financial planning environment.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and client service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A genuine interest in financial planning and personal development.
- Experience using industry platforms and back\-office systems.
- Progress towards or completion of relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CII Level 4 Diploma or equivalent).
- Previous exposure to pensions, investments, or protection products.
- Experience assisting with research or suitability report preparation.
- Ambitious and motivated to develop into a Paraplanner.
- Professional and client\-focused.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a small team environment.
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £24,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
