FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER

Overview
Flawless is one of the UK's leading FMCG and vape distributors, supplying over 15,000 retail locations and distributing over 500 brands nationwide.
We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller / Commercial Finance Manager to strengthen our finance team, improve financial controls, drive reporting excellence and support the continued growth of the business.
The successful candidate will oversee day\-to\-day finance operations, lead process improvements, support automation projects and provide meaningful commercial insight to senior leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control
· Oversee month\-end and year\-end close processes.
· Manage balance sheet reconciliations.
· Review journals, accruals and prepayments.
· Ensure robust financial controls are maintained.
Commercial Finance
· Analyse profitability by customer, supplier and brand.
· Monitor gross margin performance.
· Support pricing and commercial decision\-making.
· Produce management information and board reports.
Working Capital Management
· Oversee debtors, creditors and cashflow.
· Monitor customer credit exposure.
· Support credit control strategy.
· Improve cash conversion cycle performance.
Reporting \& Analysis
· Produce monthly management accounts.
· Develop KPI dashboards.
· Deliver weekly and monthly finance reporting.
· Support forecasting and budgeting processes.
Systems \& Process Improvement
· Lead finance automation projects.
· Improve Sage utilisation.
· Implement workflow efficiencies.
· Work with Power BI and reporting tools.
Team Leadership
· Support and develop the finance team.
· Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Ecommerce Finance functions.
· Drive accountability and performance across the department.
Experience Required
· ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified / part\-qualified.
· 5\+ years finance experience.
· Strong management accounts background.
· Sage experience preferred.
· FMCG, wholesale or distribution experience highly desirable.
· Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Salary
£45\-£50k depending on experience
Full time\- 9am \- 6pm
Pay: £45,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
