Financial Consultant (US Market)

We’re hiring: R\&D Financial Consultant at Leyton

We’re looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical profile to support R\&D tax credit studies, working at the intersection of finance, payroll data, and technical projects.

As an R\&D Financial Consultant, you will act as a true strategic partner to your clients, supporting them in the identification, valuation, and securing of public innovation funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements and payroll data


• Support the identification and calculation of eligible R\&D expenses


• Assist in preparing R\&D tax credit calculations and supporting documentation


• Collaborate with technical consultants to understand project activities and align them with R\&D eligibility criteria


• Analyze payroll data, contractor costs, and software/supply expenses related to R\&D activities


• Prepare cost allocation surveys and clear client\-facing summaries


• Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple tax years and studies

Profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail


• Comfortable working with financial data and large datasets


• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, data analysis, pivot tables strongly preferred)


• Ability to translate technical project information into financial allocations


• Good communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination
