Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst or Finance and Business Performance Analyst to join our team in the UK. Based in London, this role is vital in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring our services continue to meet the needs of young people while maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Analysing local authority placement income, occupancy levels, staffing costs, rent, utilities, support costs, compliance expenses and service profitability.
- The post\-holder will prepare financial reports for senior management, monitor cash flow, review contract performance, support audits, improve internal controls, maintain accurate financial data and provide financial insight to support sustainable service delivery
- Assist in the development of strategic financial initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Support organizational decision\-making through insightful analysis.
- Maintain accurate financial records using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to present complex data clearly.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting systems, budgeting and stakeholder reporting is required. ACCA or equivalent finance experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Experience with IT systems relevant to finance analysis is advantageous.
Pay: £46,000\.00\-£48,000\.00 per year
