This is a newly created Financial Accountant position to support with company growth and would suit a part or finalist level qualified Accountant.

This opportunity is with a well-established organisation based in South Leicestershire. Due to recent growth over the past couple of years, they are now looking to add a Financial Accountant to their team. They offer a hybrid, flexible approach to working with flexible working hours and options to work from home.
Description
The Financial Accountant's duties will include but is not limited to:
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax returns and audits.
- Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to achieve financial objectives.
- Identify process improvements to streamline financial reporting and operations.
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised or part qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 per annum (doe).
