Today Kevin O'Leary Group operates its Opel, Honda, Suzuki, Mazda, Renault and Dacia franchises in Cork City \& County and Tipperary, and a very successful high volume used car retail business. We operate four Serviceworld multi\-brand Service Centres and two Approved Light Commercial Vehicle Test Centres.

The group also operates four Centra Foodstores and Texaco and Top Oil forecourt businesses, a contract lease \& fleet management company, Hi\-Line Leasing Ltd and Partsworld, a motor factor business supplying retail and trade customers.

The Group employs over 180 people across these sites, with Head Office functions in Bandon, Co. Cork and Silversprings, Cork City.

Job Description

Kevin O’Leary Group is currently looking for an energetic and results\-driven Financial Accountant to join our team looking after accounting, processing, and consolidation for our Car dealerships, Centras and forecourts, CVRT test centres, Leasing Company, and Property Portfolio. Our ideal candidate should be a forward looking and results oriented individual. Salary is negotiable depending on years of experience, and the role is based in our Renault, Dacia, Opel and Mazda dealership in Bandon, Co. Cork.

The Role:

• Manage day to day activities of the Bandon dealership, Service and Parts departments and CVRT Centre \- Cash Receipts, Accounts Receivable, Supplier Reconciliations, Month End Journals, Management Accounts, and Reconciliations.


• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.


• Preparation and distribution of financial reports and analytics to Management.


• Complete Month End close, Group Consolidation and Reporting with prescribed reporting deadlines.


• Oversee Financial Year End Audit for the Group.


• Continually improve internal controls.


• Participating in team collaboration and finance transformation activities.

The Person:

• Qualified or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA with recent experience in practice or a medium/large business. Strong accounts reconciliation and preparation experience.


• Desire to work in a team environment.


• A passion for helping Business Managers solve problems and maximize opportunities.


• Strong communication and time management skills.


• Positive energy and attitude with desire to drive change and improve processes.


• Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Very strong IT and excel skills an advantage.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: €55,000\.00\-€65,000\.00 per year
