We are seeking candidates for a fixed term contract 6 \- 9 months possibly extendable.

Role Description

As the Finance Treasury Analyst you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the treasury function within our FX business based in Ireland and ensuring the correct reconciliation and reporting of our safeguarded accounts. You will be responsible for, and supporting various financial initiatives. The role requires a strong understanding of financial cash flows, foreign exchange transactions, treasury management, and a proactive approach to driving efficiency and effectiveness in treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safeguarding account management:

  • Ensure completeness and filing of daily safeguarding accounts process.

  • Ensue 100% of all daily reconciliations are completed and reviewed

  • Alignment and partnership with Operations Treasury and Compliance teams.

  • Investigative, analysis and oversee resolution of breaks.

  • Maintain Safeguarding Policy and Procedures are in line with current processes and followed

  • Manage any breach escalation incident in line with policy

  • Reporting of the firms’ funds, operating and client accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to foreign exchange operations.
Treasury Management:

Banking Relationships:

  • Manage relationships with banking partners, including foreign exchange service providers and correspondent banks, acting as the main point of contact for inquiries and service needs. Negotiate competitive foreign exchange rates and transaction fees.

  • Coordinate with banks for cash management services, account maintenance, and other treasury\-related matters.
Financial Risk Management:
  • Identify and analyse financial risks, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies, such as hedging programs and derivative instruments.

  • Monitor compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
Treasury Operations:
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash receipts and disbursements, wire transfers, and bank reconciliations.

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions while adhering to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement and enhance treasury systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.

  • Support financial planning and budgeting processes by providing treasury\-related insights and recommendations.

  • Prepare regular reports on bank costs, hedging costs, interest, revenue and operational expenses

  • Prepare Safeguarding reporting to ERC
