An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre finance professional to join the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will :\-

  • Lead the Finance Team in producing monthly budget monitoring packs for Senior Management, assist in strategic budget setting and other performance monitoring activities.

  • Provide expert financial advice to senior managers and service leads of varying disciplines

  • Support strategic decision making through high quality financial information and analysis

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of savings and transformation and improvement programmes

  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Provide line management duties and mentoring and support to the wider finance team

Skills \& Experience Required
---------------------------------

We are seeking an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Essential criteria includes :\-

  • Degree\-level education

  • Current membership of a recognised CCAB (or CIMA) professional body

  • Commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD)
You will also have :\-
  • Significant management accounting experience, preferably within a Local Authority, NHS or similarly complex public sector organisation

  • Experience producing and presenting complex financial information to senior officers to support decision making

  • Experience of budget monitoring and scrutiny within a large organisation

  • Experience in leading, managing and developing staff

  • Experience working collaboratively across organisational boundaries and a wide range of stakeholders
