Finance Support Officer
3 Point Recruitment are hiring a Finance Support Officer to join our Coventry based client on a hybrid working basis (2 days working from home). This is an excellent opportunity to join a business who have a global client base and who can also offer you long term career opportunities!
You will be joining an award winning, forward thinking & fact paced business who really are market leaders in their industry. Within the finance department, you’ll work as part of a close knit team of four and report into a supportive, personable Finance Manager who values development and collaboration.
This role offers regular interaction with teams across Finance, Sales and Operations - so strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders are essential!
Duties Will Include
- Support day to day finance operations - ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Act as a point of contact for finance queries, providing clear information to colleagues and external partners
- Maintain financial records and documentation, ensuring data is up to date and compliant with internal controls
- Invoice processing - including coding, matching and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing routine financial reports, summaries and reconciliations to support month end
- Monitor financial workflows, flagging issues such as missing approvals, incorrect coding or delayed submissions
- Carry out general finance administration, including data entry, filing and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team, ensuring information flows smoothly across AP, AR, Payroll and reporting
- Contribute to process improvements, helping streamline financial procedures and enhance accuracy
