Finance Specialist

We are looking for a Finance Specialist to take ownership of the local financial foundation for KOMPAN France. You will be at the centre of local reporting, controls and compliance, while working closely with the local management team, Finance Shared Services and Group Finance.

Take ownership of finance operations in KOMPAN France

This is a broad and hands\-on role combining core finance responsibility with selected local administration. You will supervise our local Credit Controller and Office Administration employee, while collaborating closely with the Financial Controller and Accountant in Finance Shared Services in Brno, Czech Republic.

Your responsibilities are to:

• Drive accurate and timely month\-end and year\-end closing and local reporting.


• Ensure strong balance sheet quality, reconciliations, controls and documentation.


• Coordinate AP/AR activities with Finance Shared Services and supervise the local Credit Controller, including collection and working\-capital follow\-up.


• Coordinate local tax, VAT, payroll, statutory reporting and audit requirements.


• Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and Accountant in Finance Shared Services in Brno to ensure smooth accounting, closing and reporting processes.


• Provide reliable financial information and local insight to Group Finance.


• Support budget and forecast processes with local data and assumptions.


• Supervise the Office Administration employee and coordinate fleet management, office activities and selected local supplier administration.

The profile we are looking for

You have a solid finance or accounting background with experience in reporting and financial control. You are comfortable taking ownership of reporting and financial processes and have a structured and quality\-focused approach.

Additionally, you have:

• A good understanding of French statutory, VAT and tax requirements.


• Experience coordinating or supervising colleagues and working collaboratively with a shared\-service finance team.


• Clear communication skills and the ability to work across local, regional and Group stakeholders.


• A pragmatic, hands\-on mindset and willingness to take responsibility beyond the accounting ledger.
