Finance & Policy Administrator

About The Role

Here at Car Finance 247, we are currently recruiting for a Finance \& Policy Administrator to join our Finance and Product Support teams.

The Finance function is a driven, dynamic and high\-performing team, supported by qualified and part\-qualified accountants, Credit Control and Product Support. Together, the teams play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer products and policies, and ensuring customers receive a high\-quality service.

As the wider group continues to grow, including businesses such as Warranty Works and Arcane AI, so do the opportunities within Finance.

What does the role offer?

This is a varied role split across Finance and Product Support, giving you the opportunity to develop experience across finance operations, reconciliations, policy administration and customer support.

Within Finance, you'll help maintain accurate accounting records, reconcile payments and completed deals, support month\-end processes and resolve discrepancies. Within Product Support, you'll set up, amend and cancel customer policies, maintain accurate records and respond to policy\-related queries.

You'll develop a strong understanding of how Car Finance 247 operates, with opportunities to improve processes and controls and study towards professional accounting qualifications.

Responsibilities Include:

• Processing and reconciling payments, accounts and completed customer deals


• Maintaining accurate accounting ledger and financial records


• Supporting month\-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations


• Investigating and resolving finance and policy queries


• Setting up, amending and cancelling customer and staff policies


• Managing policy data, records and Product Provider uploads


• Supporting the wider Finance team with ad\-hoc projects and tasks

About You

Required:

• Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail


• Confident working with numbers, data and detailed information


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Organised, proactive and able to manage changing priorities


• Strong problem\-solving skills with a willingness to take ownership


• Professional and customer\-focused when handling queries and sensitive information

Desirable:

• Experience within finance, accounts or policy administration


• Experience within financial services, motor finance or a regulated environment


• Confident using Excel, CSV files and structured data
