Robertson Bell are delighted to be partnering with a respected not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (21 hours per week).
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative finance team within a values-led organisation. Following a recent restructure, they are seeking an experienced finance professional to support a busy Accounts Payable function and help maintain efficient processes and strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process invoices through the purchase-to-pay system
- Resolve supplier and internal stakeholder queries
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare payment runs and support BACS and foreign currency payments
- Review expenses and corporate card claims
- Support system administration and user training
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
- Experience using a purchase-to-pay system
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations and payment runs
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Experience with Coupa, Business Central or similar systems would be advantageous
- AAT qualification or studying towards one would be desirable
- Permanent part-time position working 21 hours per week
