Finance Officer \- Corporate
Reporting to the Finance Manager (Corporate), you will be responsible for the day to day transactions, reporting and analysis of set UK companies within the Group. You will be able to work as part of the busy Corporate Team and on your own initiative with a flexible and committed approach to the role. Experience in a similar role is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts for relevant corporate companies including Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, actual to budget variance analysis
- Complete control of the General ledger, Cashbook and end\-to\-end Sales and Purchase ledger cycles
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts and all Balance Sheet accounts, investigating aged items and preparation of appropriate schedules
- Raising invoices for both internal and external clients and correct recognition of revenue
- Credit control for both internal and external clients including investigating aged items and taking actions to resolve issues
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Input of financials into the AARO reporting system for assigned companies
- Identification of processes that can be streamlined, automated or that can be delegated to India
- Assist in year end requirements and external audit processes
- Ensuring compliance with agreed timetable for all corporate reporting
- Other tasks that include but are not limited to Provident Fund, cadets, outcharges
- Assisting the Corporate Finance team with ad hoc duties as required

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified by experience in relevant/similar role
- Experience preparing accounts to Trial Balance Accountancy fundamentals
- Knowledge of month end process
- Microsoft packages, with advanced Excel
