ROLE: Finance Manager

Overview: The Finance Manager at Visual Architects is responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop, implement, and monitor financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.


• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision\-making.


• Budget Management:


• Collaborate with department heads to create and manage departmental budgets.


• Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.


• Financial Reporting:


• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.


• Present financial information to management, providing insights and recommendations.


• Cash Flow Management:


• Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring optimal working capital.


• Forecast and address potential cash flow issues.


• Risk Management:


• Identify and assess financial risks.


• Implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.


• Financial Compliance:


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


• Oversee the preparation for audits and coordinate with auditors.


• Financial Systems and Processes:


• Implement and optimise financial systems and processes.


• Streamline financial workflows for efficiency.


• Financial Decision Support:


• Provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives.


• Collaborate with senior management on financial implications of business decisions.


• Tax Planning and Compliance:


• Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.


• Implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions.

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support.
