Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are an established construction business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and lead the accounts department. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a key role in maintaining financial control, ensuring accurate accounting records, and supporting business decision\-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee the company's accounting records and financial systems.


• Manage and develop the accounts team.


• Take responsibility for credit control and cash flow management.


• Implement and monitor financial controls and procedures.


• Liaise with the external accountant regarding quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.


• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to the Director.


• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.


• Experience managing or supervising an accounts team.


• Proficiency in Sage 50.


• Construction industry experience or knowledge is preferred.


• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Salary of £40,000 \- £60,000 dependent on experience.
