The Opportunity

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, influencing decision-making, and moving beyond traditional compliance-led accountancy.
The Role
You will take a key role managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders. The role combines technical expertise with commercial insight and leadership.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of owner-managed and growing businesses
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
- Providing commercially focused advice and insights to support client decision-making
- Overseeing financial reporting, cashflow management, and KPI analysis
- Supporting clients with growth, structuring, and strategic planning
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Driving continuous improvement and embracing modern systems and technology
We are looking for an experienced accountant who is confident, proactive, and commercially astute.
You will ideally have:
- A clear commercial mindset and the ability to see the “bigger picture”
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
- Experience using cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with strong leadership capability
- An appetite for change and a genuine interest in modern, tech-enabled finance
