Finance Manager

This growing organisation based near Farnham are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role will be fully remote however weekly meetings will take place in Farnham so you must be local to this area in order to be considered for the role. A brilliant opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a family run business and the ideal candidate would work 4/5 short days, around 20-25 hours a week.

Finance Manager – About The Role

In this role you will be managing the full finance function and will be reporting into the Directors of the business. Previous experience in an SME or sole charge position is essential, and your key responsibilities will be:

• Supporting with the preparation and production of the management accounts.


• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts to make sure they agree with schedules.


• Check stock and journals from cost of sales in P&L to stock in balance sheet.


• Update cash flow on a daily basis


• Chase debtors weekly, updating the credit control and cash flow report.


• Managing Purchase Ledger, updating the sales invoice cost schedule.


• Working with external accountants at year end and providing all relevant information.


• Building relationships with key suppliers and onboarding new clients.

The successful Finance Manager will have:

• Previous experience in a similar position


• Sole charge/SME experience is essential


• Good attention to detail
