Finance Manager
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and day\-to\-day financial operations of the business. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and operational support to senior leadership across multiple business functions.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Finance Director, providing high\-quality financial insight, supporting business growth, and ensuring strong financial governance across the organisation.
This role requires someone who is both strategic and hands\-on, comfortable managing high\-level financial planning while also supporting day\-to\-day administration and operational finance as required.

Principal accountabilities and responsibilities
Financial Management \& Reporting
- Oversee all day\-to\-day financial operations including invoicing, reconciliations, payments, and financial transactions
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the business
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital performance
- Ensure strict cost control, margin performance, and financial efficiency across all business areas
- Prepare statutory accounts and manage year\-end audit processes with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and corporate governance requirements
- Support the HR Manager with monthly payroll collation and benefits administration
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support senior leadership decision\-making
- Prepare annual business plans and monitor performance against financial targets
- Analyse potential acquisitions, investments, and business opportunities, producing clear financial recommendations
- Manage venue and operational budgets across businesses within the group
- Monitor financial performance of events, venues, and operational activities to ensure commercial success
- Act as system owner for the financial accounting package, ensuring integrity, security, and process improvement
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, financial legislation, and reporting standards
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to reduce exposure
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
- Minimum 2\+ years’ experience in a senior finance role with governance responsibility
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting expertise
- Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management experience
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits
- Strong commercial awareness and business partnering capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
