THE ROLE
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a genuinely impactful role. You'll own the entire finance function \- from day\-to\-day controls and compliance through to management reporting, with input into strategic planning and team development. You'll be a key voice at senior leadership level, translating numbers into insight and helping shape the future direction of the business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Day to day finance functions such as bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance and payment processing
- Owning the production of monthly management accounts, board reports and financial commentary
- Preparing the annual budget and forecasting process, working closely with the GFC, MD and department leads
- Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring full statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, Companies Act)
- Overseeing payroll, cash flow and banking relationships
- Supervision of 1 part time finance assistant
- Driving continuous improvement across financial systems and processes
- Acting as a credible business partner to non\-finance colleagues and external stakeholders
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified \- or near\-qualified with strong, demonstrable experience. QBE
- At least 3 years in a similar finance management role with a proven track record in reporting and
- Experience with multi\-site businesses preferably in the property, lettings or hospitality sector
- Strong knowledge of UK financial compliance, including VAT, payroll and statutory accounts
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Xero or similar cloud platforms is essential
- A clear communicator who can make complex data accessible and meaningful
- Highly organised, detail\-driven and commercially switched\-on
- Someone who thrives in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same
- Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
- Salary of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Hybrid working – min 3 days in office.
