Finance Manager
We are recruiting a Finance Manager to join our Group in Ayrshire. This is a key role that will develop as the Group continues to grow.
You will manage the day\-to\-day finance function while helping to improve systems, processes and reporting across the business.
Key responsibilities:
· Oversee purchase ledger and sales ledger activity
· Manage credit control
· Produce management accounts, reports and analysis to support decision\-making
· Monitor and maintain cashflow
· Process payroll and wages, maintain payroll records and respond to basic payroll queries
· Support basic HR administration, including staff contracts and starter/leaver paperwork
· Oversee VAT preparation and compliance
· Develop how we use Sage and Excel while keeping finance records accurate and well organised
· Liaise with external accountants to prepare year\-end statutory accounts
Ideal candidate:
· Proven experience managing a finance function
· Strong Excel skills and experience with Sage 50
· Confident communicator, able to work closely with directors and operational teams
· High attention to detail with a practical, hands\-on approach
· Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred, or qualified by experience
This is a fully office\-based role, we are flexible in our approach to how these hours are structured. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£55,000\.00 per year
