Are you an experienced Finance Manager available immediately and looking for an interim role where you can genuinely make an impact?
I’m currently recruiting for an exciting 3-4 month Interim Finance Manager assignment within a highly recognisable charity in Milton Keynes.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager to work closely with the Finance Director, supporting the organisation through a period of transition while also getting involved in some really interesting finance transformation and improvement projects.
£300–£360 per day (Umbrella rate) – Inside IR35

3–4 month contract
3 days per week in the office
37.5 hours | Flexible start/finish times

What will you be doing?
You'll have a broad remit across the finance function, including:
- Leading/supporting the month-end close and management reporting
- Producing management accounts, commentary and variance analysis
- Supporting the FD with financial insight and reporting
- Maintaining strong financial controls and reconciliations
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders and budget holders
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
- Reviewing and improving finance systems, processes and controls
- Getting involved in wider finance improvement projects
- Supporting the implementation of a new property management system
- Managing/supporting a small finance team
- Helping to onboard and hand over to the incoming permanent Finance Manager
Ideally, you'll be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with solid Finance Manager-level experience and a strong grounding in month-end and financial reporting.
Charity sector experience is advantageous, as is experience with Iplicit or Yardi/property management systems - although these aren't essential.
Most importantly, they're looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially minded, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to hit the ground running.
