ICAT Logistics is growing and were looking for an accomplished, hands\-on Finance Manager to help shape the next stage of our development in the Netherlands.
As part of a rapidly expanding, private equity\-backed specialist transportation and logistics group headquartered in the United States, we are building an increasingly integrated international finance department. This is an opportunity to join at an exciting point in that journey and play a highly visible role in strengthening our Netherlands finance operation.
Reporting directly to the CFO International and working closely with ICATs central finance team and Netherlands leadership, youll take ownership of the accounting and finance function for our Dutch entities including the integration of newly acquired businesses.
This is much more than a reporting role. Were looking for someone who can lead the function while staying close to the detail: improving processes, solving problems, developing the team and providing the financial insight that helps the business make better decisions.

The opportunity

Youll have broad ownership across accounting, reporting, cash management, forecasting, budgeting, payroll, tax coordination and internal controls.
Just as importantly, youll help create the finance infrastructure needed to support a growing international business.
Accounting \& Reporting
You will lead the day\-to\-day accounting operation across the Netherlands, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with local accounting requirements and accurate consolidated reporting under US GAAP.
Youll own the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow reporting and variance analysis, while working closely with subsidiary and central teams to deliver timely, consistent financial information.
Youll also oversee monthly Netherlands payroll and associated reporting.
Cash Flow \& Forecasting
Youll maintain a clear view of cash and liquidity across the Netherlands operation, monitoring balances and working closely with Treasury on short\- and long\-term cash flow forecasting.
Your analysis will give senior leadership the visibility they need to make confident operational and investment decisions.
Budgeting \& Business Partnership
Working alongside the CFO and Netherlands leadership team, youll provide the financial input behind business planning, annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Youll be expected to go beyond reporting the numbers translating them into commercially relevant insight and becoming a trusted finance partner to the business.
Building Better Finance Processes
Growth brings change, and this role will be central to making that change successful.
Youll lead the development and implementation of accounting policies, controls and standard operating procedures that make finance more efficient, scalable and consistent.
Youll also play a key role in the integration of acquired businesses and the development of a centralized shared\-service model for finance.
Tax, Audit \& Compliance
Youll coordinate and support corporate tax and statutory compliance requirements in the Netherlands, including local reporting, transfer pricing and international tax requirements, while working effectively with external auditors, tax advisers and relevant authorities.
What were looking for

Were looking for an experienced finance professional who combines technical credibility with energy, pragmatism and a willingness to get things done.
Youll ideally bring:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; a professional accounting/finance qualification such as Chartered Accountant is preferred.
- 7\+ years progressive corporate accounting or finance experience, including experience operating at Finance Manager, Financial Controller or an equivalent level.
- At least 2 years experience leading and developing finance/accounting professionals.
- Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.
- Strong experience across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management and cash flow forecasting.
- Demonstrable experience establishing and improving accounting policies, internal controls, procedures and reporting processes.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and international accounting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics GP, CargoWise or comparable platforms would be advantageous. ERP implementation or finance\-transformation experience would be particularly valuable.
- Experience working with external auditors, tax advisers and regulatory authorities.
