FINANCE DIRECTOR - PARAMARIBO, SURINAME

General Objective of the Role

Coordinating and monitoring the financial activities performed in Suriname according to corporate guidelines,financial, customs and tax legislation in the country, and specific goals and indicators, in order to ensurecompliance with organizational regulations, strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines to contribute to the achievement of the organizational strategy


• Coordinating the local treasury, budget, accounting and purchases units.


• Responding to the financial requirements of the Statutory Auditors to ensure compliance with audits andclarity of the financial process.


• Addressing information requirements of regulatory agencies in order to ensure comply with tax and customsobligations .


• Monitoring the action plans to ensure the implementation of strategies and programs.


• Leading the implementation of improvements when preparing reports of the financial processes to ensuretheir proper application.


• Analyzing the contents of the Company’s financial statements to ensure its reliable and timely presentation.


• Guiding the activities of the work team of the financial unit to ensure compliance with the responsibilities androles of each member.


• Monitoring the budget execution to meet the budget.

Master's Degree

Professional in Management, Economics, Specialist in financial areas.

Experience

Financial unit management positions, in large or medium\-sized industrial production companies.

Languages

English: C1 level.

Pay: €2\.000,00 \- €2\.100,00 per month
