Finance Director

Description

The organisation has growth plans, a strong and engaged leadership team, and a healthy appetite for using finance as a strategic partner across the business. Finance is involved in key decision making, major tender opportunities and organisational planning.

You'll play a leading role in:

• Developing and improving finance processes, controls and reporting


• Simplifying systems and reducing reliance on complex workarounds


• Supporting contract tendering and commercial decision making


• Delivering financial modelling for new business opportunities


• Partnering with senior leaders to assess costs, resource requirements and service viability


• Strengthening cashflow management and working capital performance


• Leading, developing and supporting a committed finance team


• Driving continuous improvement across the finance function

We're looking for a finance professional with experience leading a finance team and partnering with senior stakeholders. You will bring:

• Strong financial management and reporting experience


• Experience driving process improvement and change


• Financial modelling and analytical skills


• Commercial awareness and business partnering capability


• The ability to communicate financial information in a clear and engaging way


• A proactive, hands-on approach


• Experience within the charity, education, social care, housing or other not for profit sectors would be advantageous but is not essential

• 37.5 hour working week.


• 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.


• Liverpool 2/3 days office working per week
