Finance Director / CFO

Your Day\-to\-Day

• Take ownership of the finance function within a fast\-growing company, currently supported by a small finance team.


• Structure and improve financial processes, controls, reporting and tools.


• Act as a hands\-on finance leader, managing operational deliverables while providing reliable financial insight to senior management.


• Work closely with senior stakeholders and Board\-level audiences, contributing to strategic and financial decisions.


• Support fundraising activities, including financial analysis, investor requirements and capital structure considerations.


• Lead finance\-related activities linked to M\&A transactions, including financial assessment, due diligence and post\-deal integration.


• Coordinate and contribute to an ongoing external audit, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of required information.


• Manage financial matters across a complex multi\-entity environment, ensuring consistency between different governance frameworks, systems and processes.


• Strengthen the finance function by taking a practical, execution\-oriented approach and directly handling key tasks and deliverables.

• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior finance leader within a startup or scale\-up environment.


• Strong understanding of startup financing, fundraising processes and investor expectations.


• Solid experience in M\&A, either on the buy\-side, sell\-side or both, with the ability to manage finance\-related aspects of transactions.


• Previous professional experience in Luxembourg, with a good understanding of the local accounting, tax, legal and regulatory environment.


• Experience in a B2B subscription or recurring\-revenue business would be a strong advantage.


• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and corporate entities within a complex organisational structure.


• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with senior management and Boards.


• Hands\-on, pragmatic and execution\-focused mindset, with the ability to take ownership and deliver independently.


• Able to work effectively in a fast\-paced and evolving environment and take up the role at short notice.
