Finance Business Partner

Trinity House Group are delighted to be working with this prestigious, innovative, modern business, as we support them in the recruitment of Finance Business Partner, based in Birmingham. We are seeking an accomplished professional to support the senior leadership team, to provide analytical business support and insights to optimise UK financial performance.

The Job:

You will be an ambitious, established commercial accountant, with proven experience of building relationships within the non-financial stakeholders to take a joined up, proactive approach.

Duties include:

• Deliver insightful financial analysis to inform key business decisions.


• Lead financial planning and reporting processes.


• Identify risks and opportunities, driving proactive solutions to enhance financial performance.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships across departments to promote financial literacy and effective resource management.


• Support the senior leadership team on strategic projects, investment cases and complex financial analysis.


• Prepare and present high-quality financial reports to senior management.


• Cost analysis to identify key variances and trends.


• Identify improvements within finance systems, driving efficiencies.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.


• Proven track record in a similar role within a fast-paced business environment, ideally working closely with c-suite.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.


• Strong communication and influencing abilities, with the confidence to challenge and guide stakeholders.


• Resilient self-starter who identifies problems and implements solutions.


• Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach.


• Commercial acumen, ideally gained within a multi-site business environment.


• There will be some travel involved to other sites in the UK.
