Finance Business Partner Location: Newport
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

A leading financial services business in Newport is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a strong opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting key business decisions.

The Role You will act as a trusted finance partner to the wider business, using financial analysis and commercial insight to help drive performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand business performance and financial drivers


• Producing and analysing management information, budgets and forecasts


• Providing clear financial insight and commentary to support decision-making


• Challenging assumptions and highlighting opportunities, risks and areas for improvement


• Supporting financial planning and performance reviews


• Analysing variances and identifying the key drivers behind performance


• Developing strong relationships across finance and operational teams


• Improving the quality and effectiveness of financial reporting


• Supporting strategic projects and wider business initiatives

About You We are looking for a confident finance professional who can go beyond reporting and add genuine commercial value.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or commercially focused finance role


• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or be actively studying towards one


• Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis


• Excellent Excel and analytical skills


• The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


• A proactive, commercially minded approach


• Financial services experience would be advantageous
