We’re supporting a leading, globally recognised engineering and technology organisation in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their growing UK finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop within a structured, international business environment.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting transactional processes, and ensuring compliance across multiple finance areas. This position offers strong exposure across management accounting, VAT, payroll, and ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly VAT submissions, reconciliations, and support VAT-related queries


• Manage Accounts Payable activities including queries, expenses, and GR/IR accounts


• Support Accounts Receivable processes including customer set-ups, invoicing support, and credit control activities


• Assist with cash flow management and payment plans


• Carry out internal compliance checks and ONS submissions


• Support payroll processes including monthly reviews and postings

About You

• Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and actively studying


• Experience using SAP


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Highly organised with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines


• Confident communicator, able to build relationships across teams


• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
