We are recruiting an experienced Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk for one of the UK’s leading land, property development, home-building and construction businesses based in Sheffield.

The Job:

The Finance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Group Finance department by processing and maintaining the purchase ledger for various group companies.

  • Maintaining the purchase ledger for group companies.

  • Dealing with supplier queries, liaising with suppliers and internal staff to resolve.

  • Updating and maintaining cash books daily.

  • Bank reconciliations.

  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The Person:
  • Previous experience is desirable.

  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail are essential.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills are required.

  • Good IT skills are essential.
