An opportunity to build a long\-term career in finance within a growing renewable energy business

Myriad Products is a well\-established renewable energy engineering company with over 20 years’ experience delivering low\-carbon energy systems. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team and develop into a future Finance Manager.

This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who wants more than just a transactional admin position. We’re looking for someone who is curious, organised, computer literate, and motivated to learn how a growing engineering business operates financially.

You do not need years of experience, but you do need the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and the willingness to take ownership and figure things out.

The Role

This is a full\-time, office\-based role at Myriad’s office in Melton Mowbray.

You will support the finance team with day\-to\-day finance operations while gradually developing broader commercial and financial understanding across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, and delivery notes

  • Assisting with bank postings and reconciliations

  • Supporting month\-end reporting and finance administration

  • Helping reconcile information between operational and accounting systems

  • Supporting payroll administration and VAT/CIS preparation

  • Credit control and supplier account queries

  • Maintaining organised and accurate financial records

  • Assisting the Finance Manager and wider team with ad\-hoc finance tasks
As your experience develops, you will gain broader exposure to financial processes, systems, reporting, and business operations.

About You

You may already have some finance or accounts experience, or be at the beginning of your finance career and looking for an opportunity to grow.

You will ideally have:

  • An AAT qualification (or be studying towards one)

  • Strong computer literacy and confidence using Excel and software systems

  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills

  • A willingness to learn and develop

  • The confidence to ask questions and solve problems independently

  • A positive and reliable attitude
Experience with accounting software such as Sage would be helpful, but is not essential.

You must also:

  • Be able to work full\-time onsite in Melton Mowbray

  • Already hold permanent UK work authorisation (graduate visas or sponsorship requirements cannot be considered)
Why Join Myriad Products
  • Established business with over 20 years’ experience

  • Stable and growing company within the renewable energy sector

  • Opportunity to learn directly from experienced finance professionals

  • Genuine long\-term career progression into finance management

  • Supportive team environment with exposure to real business operations
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a proper finance career within a growing engineering and renewable energy business.
