Finance Assistant
We are looking for an immediately available, meticulous and organised Finance Assistant to join a busy Accounting & Finance department based near Chipping Norton for a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a transactional role that focuses on supporting financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Description
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with journal postings
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies where necessary
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Provide support to the Accounting & Finance team on ad hoc projects
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial documentation and filing systems
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams confidently
A successful Finance Assistant should be/have:
- Experience in a high volume, transactional role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work well under pressure
- An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Immediate availability (or on short notice)
- Immediate start
