Your new role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to provide financial and accountancy support across a range of departments, teams and projects. The role involves monitoring budgets, preparing financial reports, processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. You will also provide advice and guidance on financial queries while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience within a finance environment. You should have strong numerical, analytical and IT skills, including experience using spreadsheets and finance systems. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload priorities and meet deadlines are essential.
What you'll get in return
This role is offering from £17.81 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. The organisation is based in Birmingham and will offer a hybrid working pattern where you will be required to work in office 3 days a week.
This is a 6 month contract with potential to extend!
