About us

Pipe Dream Fittings is a growing West Midlands business. We supply industrial and commercial pipeline products — tubes, pipes, valves, key clamp, flanges and weldable fittings — and we manufacture bespoke industrial furniture from pipe and reclaimed timber under Pipe Dream Furniture.

Both sides of the business run from our Dudley site of more than 100,000 sq ft: stock\-holding and next\-day dispatch for fittings, and a workshop and showroom for furniture. We sell to trade and retail customers, operate credit accounts, and handle a high volume of purchase and sales invoices. The finance and administration function keeps that moving and gives the directors reliable support as the company grows.

The role

We are looking for a Finance and Business Executive to take ownership of day\-to\-day accounts processes and provide structured support to the Managing Directors.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will run purchase ledger, sales invoicing, credit control, bank reconciliations, weekly payroll and NEST submissions, and help prepare VAT returns. You will also manage general administration and follow\-up for the directors.

  • Maintain company records and filing (contracts, supplier agreements, insurance documents, certificates and key correspondence)

  • Coordinate information requests from accountants, insurers, banks, solicitors and other professional advisers

  • Support the directors with travel, site visits, supplier meetings

  • Track operational actions arising from director meetings and chase updates from sales, warehouse, production and finance

  • Handle confidential information with discretion

  • Take on ad\-hoc projects and other business tasks as the company requires
Working style
  • Prioritise competing finance and administration deadlines without losing accuracy

  • Work with limited supervision once trained
