About the position
We are looking for a Finance and Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a versatile professional, you will be responsible for managing administrative and financial tasks, contributing to the smooth running of our organization. We are looking for motivated, rigorous candidates with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team and contribute to our common success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of financial records, including budgets, expense reports, and invoices.

  • Process payments, maintain accurate bookkeeping, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

  • Manage procurement processes and maintain records of Embassy assets and inventory.

  • Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining filing systems.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial and administrative matters.

  • Assist in the implementation of Embassy policies and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively in English and French with our international partners when necessary.
Desired profile
A minimum Professional Qualification/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial administration or a similar role would be an added advantage.

Have significant experience in the administrative or accounting field, with an advanced command of Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Have a solid knowledge of accounting, taxation and payroll management. Strong organizational skills allowing you to manage several files simultaneously with rigor and efficiency.

Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English and French, which are essential for effective internal communication and operational processes.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, integrity and a keen eye for detail.

Applicants should provide a valid Police Clearance Certificate (extrait de casier judiciair) issued within the last six months, two contactable references and certified copies of relevant academic certificates.

Rémunération : à partir de 3 247,25€ par mois
