Finance and Administration Lead
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Finance and Administration Lead to oversee our organisation’s financial operations and administrative functions. The Finance and Admin Lead will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the Chief Executive \& Artistic Director and Deputy Chief Exec / Director of Operations to shape and deliver Scala’s strategic vision and business plans. The postholder manages reporting, budgets, payroll and systems.
Key Responsibilities
. Part of the Senior Leadership Team.
· Producing reports, providing accurate financial information.
· Producing monthly management accounts and P\&L sheet.
· Performing bank reconciliation.
· Manage the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and payments
· Acting as one of the bank signatories.
· Liaising with the accountant and auditors’ year end, charity Confirmation statements etc.
· Producing and updating cash\-flow documents.
· Leading on the development of the annual Scala budget with Scala CEO and Deputy CEO.
· Processing transactions.
· Running monthly payroll.
· Maintaining grant / restricted income, donation and membership systems.
· Oversee and submit Gift Aid claims
· Responsibility for contractual agreements with artists, companies and hirers and
other CRM financial responsibilities.
· Working with Scala’s box office and scheduling systems.
· Responsibility for PRS.
· Develop and review HR policies and frameworks to ensure Scala is attractive,
efficient and inclusive employer.
· Lead Scala’s annual insurances renewal, ensuring sufficient cover for building,
income protection and liabilities, advising the Board on any significant changes or
risk.
· Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and professional development.

\* Mention which accounting software packages you are proficient in (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage), and what is your level of proficiency with Excel?
\* Describe your organisational administrative experience with reference to People \& Culture systems
