Finance Administrator for Property Company
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Property Accounts Manager to oversee the financial and administrative functions related to property management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate account records, liaising with tenants and clients, and ensuring smooth financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in property or office administration to contribute to a dynamic team. The role would involve utilising three key software packages, namely Xero for company financial records, Alto for lettings financial processing and Blockman for block management reporting.
The right candidate would need to be dynamic and have a confident approach to new software and systems, but our friendly and highly experienced management team will offer full and extensive training to support the transition.
We offer a flexible arrangement of working part of the week within the Raynes Park office and days working remotely once initial training is complete.
Duties
- Manage and update property accounts using Xero software, ensuring all data is accurate and current.
- Reconciliation of all client accounts on a weekly basis (in the region of 90 accounts).
- Process weekly rental payments to landlord using Alto property software – full training to be provided.
- Generating and processing sales invoices.
- Liasing with contractors and paying maintenance invoices.
- Generate annual service charge budgets for manged buildings and issue Leaseholder service charge invoices.
- Follow up any rental and service charge arrears.
- Respond professionally to tenant inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with client meetings and AGMs on occasion to provide financial overviews for managed buildings.
Requirements
- Previous office or financial accounts assistant experience, preferred but not essential.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Xero Accounts software essential.

Work Location: Office based usually 3 days per week (SW20 0LP) and work remotely 2 days per week.
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
