Finance Administrator

Temporary Finance Administrator Location: Stockport
Duration: Approximately 6 Weeks
Salary: £13.50ph - £15ph

Key Responsibilities • Processing and matching supplier invoices within the finance system.

• Reviewing and validating supplier charges, ensuring accuracy against supporting documentation.


• Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.


• Completing regular supplier account reconciliations.


• Assisting with the preparation and processing of supplier payments.


• Monitoring and administering petty cash transactions.


• Generating and distributing customer account statements.


• Uploading customer invoices to online customer portals.


• Supporting credit control activities and following up outstanding payments.


• Processing daily banking transactions and maintaining accurate records.


• Completing daily bank reconciliations and investigating any variances.


• Managing company credit card expenditure and associated reporting.


• Maintaining expense records and ensuring transactions are accurately accounted for.


• Managing the accounts email inbox and responding to finance-related enquiries.


• Providing general finance and administrative support as required.

About You To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• Previous experience within a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or similar finance role.


• Strong working knowledge of accounting processes and financial administration.


• Experience using accounting software, with Microsoft Business Central being highly desirable.


• Good Excel and general IT skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.


• Strong organisational and communication skills.


• The ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
