This temporary Finance Admin role offers an excellent opportunity to support the accounting and finance department within the industrial and manufacturing industry. Based in Harlow, the position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of administrative processes and financial systems.

Client Details

The employer is a small-sized organisation operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector. They are known for their commitment to delivering exceptional standards within their field and providing valuable contributions to their clients.

Description

  • Review and manage the daily and upcoming job schedule (via Excel), ensuring all required details are prepared in advance

  • Check that each job includes complete and accurate information, including: • Pricing

  • Supporting paperwork

  • Photos/evidence of completed works

  • Ensure all job packs are fully compliant and signed off before submitting to Credit Control for invoicing

  • Work closely with the Credit Control team to support smooth and timely billing processes

  • Liaise with operational teams and 40+ site operatives to ensure information is submitted correctly and on time

  • Monitor, check, and approve monthly applications for works carried out

  • Support both social housing and private client projects, understanding differing requirements and expectations

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure strong attention to detail across all administrative processes

  • Challenge incomplete or incorrect information and push back where necessary to maintain standards

  • Assist with any wider accountancy duties

Profile

A successful Finance Admin will have experience in the above and be on short notice

Job Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate between £15 - £16.50, depending on experience.
