Finance Accounts Assistant | Finance Assistant | Accounts Administrator Truro | £26,000-£28,000 depending on skills and experience | 35 hours per week | 5 days | Permanent

Introduction We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work from our Truro office, as part of our Finance Team and in collaboration with other departments.

Part-time hours, with a minimum of 25 hours per week over a 5-day week, may be considered.

Key Duties • Manage payment queries from internal teams and directly from Members.

• Manage and handle payments, direct debit instructions and refunds of insurance premiums.


• Make calls to Members to discuss late or missing payments.


• Process invoices and set up purchasing and claims payments.


• Handle and prepare for banking all monies received in accordance with agreed company procedures.


• Complete bank reconciliations.

Requirements • Previous experience working in Accounts.

• Strong attention to detail.


• Excellent customer service, administrative and organisational skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.


• Flexible and solution-driven.


• GCSE Maths at grade 6 or above.
