Field Support Engineer (Coffee Vending)

About you
You will have a background in after\-sales and training with electronics and hydraulic skills and a qualification in engineering, as well as being a keen problem\-solver experience with a passion for developing and maintaining customer relationships.
About the role
The role requires travel to customer sites in the North (Manchester, parts of Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland) to carry out the service and repair of coffee machines. Additional responsibilities include:
- Using your skills and experience to identify, diagnose and repair faults over a range of coffee machines
- Provide appropriate training to customers in relation to the operation of their coffee machines
- Identify problems and record information for analysis
- Detail and update technical documentation
- Identify and communicate new applications and opportunities for product improvement
- Identify client requirements in order to increase sales
- Visit clients and trade fairs as technical support for the Sales Team
- Maintain good customer relations by providing an excellent customer service, ensuring good communications with customer
- Support in the development and results from the field tests for new products
- Organise daily route based on required workload ensuring efficiency and best use of time and alter route, when necessary, to accommodate urgent breakdowns or deliveries.
- Identify and propose continuous improvement to maximise processes
- Actively collaborate with other internal departments
- Observe Health \& Safety Guidelines, ensure compliance with all health \& safety procedures
- Engineering qualification
- Knowledge of electronics and hydraulics
- Experience of testing and repairing service equipment
- Previous experience or working with pressure boilers
- Problem solving skills
- Quality management of incidents
- Experience working with coffee machine equipment including espresso machines, bean to cup machines and coffee grinders is beneficial.
- Ability to travel throughout the UK and be away overnight
- Full UK Driving License
- Ability to work on own initiative
