We're supporting an established UK engineering and service-led organisation in the search for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team.

As the Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for visiting customer sites to install, service, maintain, and repair specialist equipment across your allocated region.
This is a practical, customer-facing position where you'll use strong fault-finding skills, attention to detail, and a professional approach to deliver a high standard of service. You'll receive full training on the company's equipment and processes, making this a strong opportunity for somebody with transferable technical skills looking to move into field service engineering.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on specialist equipment
- Attending customer sites across your allocated region
- Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs
- Installing and commissioning equipment where required
- Completing service reports and job documentation accurately
- Following health & safety procedures and company processes
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicle standards
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
- Developing technical knowledge through structured training
- Strong hands-on technical ability
- Mechanical, electrical, engineering, maintenance, or field-based experience
- Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organised, and self-motivated approach
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Willingness to learn and develop technically
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence
