As a Field Service Engineer you ensure high quality technical support for advanced laboratory and diagnostic equipment across hospitals and laboratories. You install, maintain and repair systems that healthcare professionals rely on every day. Your work guarantees performance, safety and continuity in environments where reliability is critical.
Installation and configuration
You install, configure and calibrate high tech laboratory instruments at customer sites to ensure correct operation from day one.
Technical troubleshooting
You diagnose and resolve technical issues on site or remotely. Your actions secure fast recovery of equipment and minimise downtime for clinical operations.
Preventive maintenance
You perform routine maintenance and provide proactive advice to improve system performance and long term reliability.
Customer support
You deliver professional service, build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical partner for healthcare staff.
Collaboration and reporting
You work closely with colleagues in technical support, logistics and product teams and document all activities according to internal procedures.
Travel and training
You travel within the Wavre, Charleroi and Huy region and occasionally abroad for technical training or team meetings.
Required competences \& skills
----------------------------------
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor or Master degree in Electromechanics, Electromechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
- Living in the Brussels region with flexibility to support across Belgium when required
- Hands on, solution driven and comfortable working in dynamic environments
- Customer oriented with strong communication skills
- You are physically able to perform field service activities, including standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, working in confined spaces when required, and safely lifting and carrying equipment of up to 20 kg
- Ideally fluent in Dutch and French with good command of English
- Knowledge of IT and network infrastructure is an advantage
- Willing to work flexible hours and participate in an on call rotation
- Eager to learn and grow within a supportive technical team
