Field Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer Mechatronics for the Field Service Team focusing on our Secondary Fresh Equipment (Cutting, Portioning, Weighing, Batching)
In this role, your primary responsibility is to Service and optimize our machines at our customers’ sites in North Europe. You will also be involved in Installation Projects in this region. These highly mechatronic systems combine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical engineering and controls, making your role a unique blend of hands\-on technical work and customer interaction.
On a daily basis, you will:
- Prepare and execute Service projects of our Secondary Fresh portfolio
- Conduct service and maintenance visits to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and controls\-related issues on\-site.
- Lead and coordinate local employees in larger installation projects.
- Keep in touch with, and report progress to, the customer.
- You will be part of a team of experienced engineers who share knowledge and support each other, both on customer sites and from the office.
To become a true specialist on our Secondary Fresh Equipment we also schedule time for:
- Preparing your upcoming projects and reporting on completed ones.
- Personal and technical training, both in the office and in the field.

To be successful in this role you:
- Have a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Have solid knowledge of mechanics, with strong affinity for electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and controls.
- Experience in service/maintenance of complex machinery is an advantage.
- Have strong interest in process engineering and/or food production.
- Have good command of the English language (both written and spoken). German is a plus
- Must have relevant EU travel and work documents.
