Field Service Engineer

Irish Air Compressors Ltd is an air compressor and pneumatic sales and service company based in Little Island, Cork. We are currently looking to employ a Field Service Technician

• We serve the needs of a wide variety of industrial customers predominantly in the Munster region.


• We are authorised distributors of Atlas Copco Multi\-Air equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Participate where necessary in the repair and maintenance and installation of company owned and customer owned rotary screw and piston type air compressors and ancillary equipment.


• Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs.


• Work with equipment suppliers to learn the maintenance requirements and capabilities of new equipment added to inventory.


• Evaluate all equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.·


• Handle customer enquiries regarding equipment condition or operation.·


• Complete electronic service reports and checklists in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the compressed air industry or similar electrical / mechanical industries.


• Strong understanding of safety requirements.


• Clear perspective of maintenance and repair issues in the industry


• Use of tools and other repair equipment


• Parts Inventory Management


• Full clean driver’s licence
