Job Overview: Field Service Engineer (Medpoint)

A home\-based, client\-facing field role servicing, installing, and repairing automated prescription collection machines and robotics across the Scotland region (with UK/Ireland travel).

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnostics \& Repairs: Perform root\-cause mechanical, electrical, and remote fault diagnosis on automated robotics and prescription collection machines.


• Installation \& Go\-Live: Receive equipment, complete installations, supervise 3rd\-party contractors, test for safety, and run go\-live handovers for clients.


• Customer Support: Provide remote hotline support, submit daily service reports, and build strong client relationships.

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years’ field service experience with industrial/commercial electro\-mechanical automation systems.


• Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software/firmware systems.


• Valid UK Driving Licence.


• *(Desirable: Experience as a Vending Machine or Pharmacy Robot Engineer).*

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
