Join Our Mission:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will support our customers across the Benelux region, mainly in Belgium and the Netherlands.

You will work directly at customer sites, carrying out installations, commissioning, maintenance and technical troubleshooting.

This is a field\-based role with a high level of autonomy. You will work closely with customers, other Field Service Engineers and our technical teams in France.

You will report to the Customer Service Engineer for Benelux, Germany and Austria.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning Pellenc ST equipment at customer sites.


• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and electromechanical faults.


• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.


• Troubleshooting technical issues and identifying the cause of faults.


• Working with mechanical systems, electrical equipment and industrial networks.


• Testing equipment following installations, repairs and technical updates.


• Supporting customers to keep their equipment operating safely and reliably.


• Providing technical advice and support to customers.


• Escalating more complex technical issues when required.


• Completing service and intervention reports.


• Working closely with colleagues across the region and our technical teams in France.


• Taking part in technical and product training.


• Managing your own schedule and business travel.


• Travelling regularly across Belgium and the Netherlands, with occasional travel to Germany, Austria and other European countries.

Profile

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who is comfortable working independently and solving problems in the field.

Experience in the waste sorting industry would be an advantage but is not essential. We are also interested in candidates who have worked with industrial machinery, automated equipment or electromechanical systems in other sectors.

Ideally, you will have:

• A technical qualification in electromechanics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation or a similar field.


• Experience working with industrial machinery or automated equipment.


• Good mechanical knowledge.


• Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read electrical schematics.


• Some knowledge of industrial networks or communication systems.


• Good fault\-finding and troubleshooting skills.


• The ability to work independently and know when to ask for technical support.


• Confidence dealing directly with customers.


• Good organisation and time\-management skills.


• The ability to manage your own travel and workload.


• A willingness to travel regularly and stay away from home when required.


• A valid driving licence.


• Programming experience is not required. The main focus of the role is the installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment at customer sites.

Dutch/Flemish and English are important for this position.

French would be a strong advantage, particularly when working with colleagues in France HQ.

Additional languages would also be an advantage.
