FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE – EDINBURGH
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Representative to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven sales professional to join a growing business, developing strong client relationships and driving new wholesale opportunities.
This role offers a competitive salary, company car, and the chance to work within a dynamic and supportive sales team.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Sales Executive, Regional Salesperson, Business Development Executive, Account Manager or Sales Consultant.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 – 17:30
- Flexible start and finish times depending on business and client needs
- £30,000 – £35,000 per year
- Company car included

As a Field Sales Representative your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing wholesale clients
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned territories or product lines
- Conducting market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Presenting and promoting products to potential and existing customers through meetings, demonstrations and events
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiating pricing, terms and contracts in line with company policies
- Processing orders accurately and ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Maintaining accurate sales records, forecasts and reports using CRM systems
- Working closely with internal teams including marketing, logistics and finance to ensure excellent customer service
- Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
To be successful as a Field Sales Representative you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and results-driven approach to sales
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in wholesale, B2B sales or account management (2+ years preferred)
- A qualification in business, marketing or a related field would be advantageous
- Ongoing support and training will be provided throughout your assignment
