The Opportunity
This is a field\-based sales role focused on developing new business opportunities and growing existing customer relationships across the UK.
You’ll spend the majority of your week meeting customers, identifying opportunities, promoting innovative technical solutions and building long\-term partnerships.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities and helping customers solve real\-world operational challenges.
You’ll have the freedom to manage your own diary and territory, supported by a knowledgeable and experienced team who will provide the technical expertise and backing needed to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the UK
- Identify, qualify and develop new sales leads
- Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into long\-term customers
- Grow revenue within existing customer accounts through upselling and cross\-selling activity
- Introduce and support the launch of new products into the market
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, demonstrations and presentations
- Build strong relationships with decision\-makers and key stakeholders
- Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows and networking events
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Maintain a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes
- Represent the business professionally at all times
This is a consultative sales role where some opportunities can take many months to develop.
Because of this, success isn’t measured solely by immediate sales revenue.
During your first 90 days, we’d expect you to:
- Build relationships with existing customers
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, services and markets
- Generate customer enquiries
- Create qualified sales opportunities
- Produce customer quotations and proposals
- Build a healthy pipeline of future business
What We’re Looking ForEssential
- Proven field sales experience
- Demonstrable new business development experience
- Experience growing and developing existing customer accounts
- Strong relationship\-building and communication skills
- Experience managing a sales territory independently
- Self\-motivated and commercially driven
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Experience selling technical, engineering or industrial products or services
- Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, facilities management, construction, utilities, HVAC, industrial services or related sectors
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience introducing new products or solutions into existing customer bases

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 15:00
Location
One day per week in West Yorkshire, with the remainder of your time spent visiting customers throughout the UK.
