Field Sales Executive

Renova Energy is part of an established group which develops MW\-scale wind and solar projects. Due to diversification of our business model, we are now significantly expanding our business presence within the MCS\-regulated domestic and SME solar and battery market, creating a number of exciting new positions in our team.

We seek experienced and driven Solar and Battery Field Sales Representatives for our operations in Scotland and Northern England. We are specifically looking for candidates who already have good working product knowledge and a demonstrated successful track record in MCS\-accredited solar and battery sales to domestic and SME customers.

The ideal Field Sales Representative candidate will have –

· Existing good working knowledge of solar and battery storage.

· Ability to convincingly explain the benefits of solar and/or battery storage to potential customers, guiding through their options to an appropriate purchase decision, including use of an on\-screen presentation.

· A personable nature with excellent communication and customer relationship building skills.

· Strong closing skills – when the customer is ready to commit you have the instinct to complete the sale.

· A tenacious and exhaustive approach to working sales leads, following up on missed calls and never discarding a lead that could still become a sale.

· Ability to perform a basic site survey to identify the size of system that may be fitted on a property, the cable routes required and the factors which affect the performance of solar or battery equipment.

· Previous experience using Open Solar software.

· Experience of conforming to MCS and RECC standards.

· Flexibility around working hours to suit the needs of potential customers.

· Have your own vehicle with a full UK Driving License.

· Willingness to travel up to 2\.5hrs from your home base.

· Entitled to work in the UK.

The field sales role involves –

· Contacting customers based on leads provided to you to make home survey and sales appointments.

· Attending appointments to guide customers towards a purchase.

· Undertaking a basic site survey to ensure that the appropriate size of system and any installation difficulties are properly identified.

· Preparation and delivery of a quotation within pricing guidelines set by Renova Energy.

· Follow up any appointments which did not result in a sale.

· Act as the customer “relationship manager”, being the point of contact for their queries during the sales and delivery phases.

· A generous basic Salary with uncapped commission structure with OTE of £50,000 and potential for \>£150,000 earnings.

· Cold\-calling not required, however we offer additional override commission for self\-generated leads together with Head Office support should you wish to run your own marketing events or campaigns.
