Area Sales Manager – Concrete

Are you a proactive, driven salesperson who enjoys being out on the road, building relationships and winning business?

We’re looking for an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of a highly lucrative Birmingham territory, selling concrete solutions into contractors, groundworkers, merchants and precast companies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inherit a large, established customer base in a strong and commercially important territory, with plenty of scope to develop existing accounts, win new customers and grow sales.

The Role You’ll be responsible for managing and developing sales across Birmingham and the surrounding area, building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to increase turnover and market share.

You’ll be dealing with a broad range of customers, from established contractors and groundworkers through to merchants and precast businesses, so this is a role where relationship-building, commercial awareness and a proactive approach really matter.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and growing an established customer base across Birmingham


• Developing strong relationships with contractors, groundworkers, merchants and precast companies


• Identifying and winning new business within the territory


• Increasing sales and developing existing accounts


• Regularly visiting customers and understanding their requirements


• Quoting, negotiating and closing new opportunities


• Keeping up to date with local projects and upcoming developments


• Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service


• Taking ownership of your territory and delivering against sales targets

About You We’re looking for someone who is hungry, enthusiastic and commercially driven.

You’ll ideally have experience selling into the construction but applications from other sales backgrounds will be considered.
